The following is a list of the average cost of various procedures across the United States. These prices include the surgeon’s fee as well as other fees such as anesthesia fee, operating room fee, etc. This is important because most facilities only tell potential clients the surgeon’s fee which only makes up 60-70 percent of the total cost of plastic surgery.

Costs for plastic surgery are surprisingly uniform across the United States, although there are a few exceptions such as in the State of New York where cost can be up to 50 percent higher than the averages listed below. The average costs of common cosmetic procedures are as follows:

The above prices are just average costs for the most common types of cosmetic surgical procedures. Most health insurance will not cover these types of procedures although there are exceptions when such surgeries, such as breast reduction, are required in order to improve one’s overall physical health or well being.
